Director Statement
For my second ever short film, I wanted to focus on crafting a script that was good enough to sustain a film that was entirely conversation- no action. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Richard Linklater, and their treatment of the romance genre, I wrote the script for "Epilogue."
Once again funded entirely by me with less than £1,000 as a budget, I put together a team of people, most of with whom I had worked with before, and managed to create a production that made us all proud. The experience and commitment of our main actors, Damien Rowe and Jessica Paul, the relentlessness of co-producer and cinematographer Victoria Barrera, and the brilliant work from 1st AD India Moan, were fundamental in the successful outcome of the short.
